Family Service Center will present 2012 in 33 Provinces

Yogyakarta, To solve family problems related to the high reproductive and sexual health, divorce rates and teenage problems, BKKBN (National Population and Family Planning) will develop and test the Prosperous Family Service Center simultaneously in 33 provinces in 2012.

“The target for the year 2012 we will develop a Prosperous Family Service Center, which contains family counseling clinics, conseling marriage, a youth mentoring conseling and families who will be tested simultaneously in 33 provinces. Starting in January 2012 , “said Head of BKKBN Dr. Dr. Sugiri Syarief, MPA at the press conference of The 6th Asia Pacific Conference on Reproductive and Sexual Health and Rights at Graha Sabha Pramana UGM, Yogyakarta, Thursday (10/20/2011).

If the test worked well, Dr Sugiri said it would expand the Family Service Center was to Prosperous district and city level.

“Prosperous Family Service Center will include a complete service, ranging from marriage to be lower conseling divorce rates, youth conseling which provides psychological and medical services for adolescents and assistance to families with economic problems.

“For youth conseling, trainernya will be from teenage peers. We will train so there is no communication gap between trainers and participants, “continued Dr. Sugiri.

In addition to the target by 2012, since 2008 the BKKBN has had 23 500 clinics spread throughout Indonesia to provide family planning services. BKKBN also have a 5300 Center for Information and Counseling Adolescents in every province in Indonesia.
